so I realize everyone & their mom are posting these eggs, so I’ll leave you with my recipe at the bottom but I really just wanted to take a moment to talk about a specific adaptogen. For those of you who may not know, adaptogens are plant based herbs that help our bodies adapt to stress. Maca specifically helps balances our hormones (alleviates menopause symptoms), boosts libido and increases endurance & energy. I find the taste to be slightly nutty with a butterscotch undertone. I’ll usually add maca to oatmeal, chia puddings, smoothies & baked goods. Okay, now for the recipe (took inspiration from @eatingwith_em but slightly modified)👇🏼

1️⃣ Mix 1/2 cup peanut butter + 4 tbsp @bobsredmill coconut flour + 1 tbsp @runamokmaple vanilla maple syrup + 2 @majusuperfoods maca capsules (optional) + 1/2 tsp vanilla + 1/4 tsp cinnamon. Form into egg shapes & cool in the freezer on a parchment paper lined baking sheet for about 20 minutes.
2️⃣ Once cool & firm, I dipped them into some melted @sochatti dark chocolate (you could also melt your favorite chocolate chips with a tiny bit of coconut oil to coat).
3️⃣ Place them back on the parchment paper lined baking sheet & freeze for 10 min to set! I would store in the fridge or freezer. Happy Easter 🐣
