HOMEMADE GRANOLA is one of the easiest things to make! It’s a huge money saver & you get to control how much sugar you add into it. My fav ways to enjoy granola are in a bowl with some cold almond milk, over yogurt with berries, or over a smoothie bowl! What’s your fav way to eat granola?👇🏼
_______
• 4C of rolled oats
• 2C raw nuts/seeds (I used pecans & walnuts, but you can try chia seeds, flax seeds hemp seeds or sunflower seeds)
• 1/2C dried fruit (I used cranberries, you could use chopped dates or raisins)
• 1/2C melted coconut oil
• 1/2C maple syrup
• 2t cinnamon
• 1t salt
• 1t vanilla
.
1️⃣ Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees.
2️⃣ Add oats + nuts + seeds + salt to a bowl & stir.
3️⃣ In a smaller bowl, add melted coconut oil + maple syrup + cinnamon + vanilla. Mix well.
4️⃣ Add the wet mixture to the dry, stir to coat oats.
5️⃣ Pour the granola onto a large parchment paper lined baking sheet. Press the granola down with the back of a spatula or with the bottom of a cup. Ensure its all even.
6️⃣ Bake for 20-30 minutes, stirring half way.
✨TRICK TO GET CLUSTERS✨let the granola cool completely (at least 1 hour but preferably around 4 hours before breaking apart).
7️⃣ Store in an airtight container. It will stay in the fridge for around 4 weeks in the freezer for 3-4 months!
