5 minute vegan CHEESY mac πŸ§€πŸ Nutritional yeast should become your best friend because it is essentially yeast that is vegan friendly & gives food a cheesy flavor! It packs 8g of protein + 3g of fiber per 1/4 cup & it even provides us with B12 (which we can only get from animal products). This recipe was adopted by the beautiful @elavegan πŸ’•Store the leftover sauce in a container & use on pizza, pasta, for nachos or even as a dip! How would you use this cheese sauce? Sauce:
β€’ 1 cup canned coconut milk
β€’ 4 tbsp @nwbulkmarket nutritional yeast
β€’ 2 tbsp @nwbulkmarket arrowroot flour
β€’ 1/2 tsp salt
β€’ 1/2 tsp garlic powder
β€’ 1/2 tsp onion powder
β€’ 1/4 tsp turmeric
β€’ 1/4 tsp paprika
➑️ Add all of the sauce ingredients to a pot & simmer on low/med heat for about 3 min until stretchy & incorporated. Serve over your fav pasta! I served mine with @eatbanza chickpea pasta wheels + green peas + sprinkle of smoked paprika on top!
